On the 5th of December 1976, at the National Heroes Park in Jamaica, Bob Marley held a concert where two opposing political parties who were literally at war came together and ended a feud with Marley playing the catalyst to peace through his non-violent approach.
Titled Smile Jamaica, after the name of the concert, this painting commemorates the peaceful and loving philosophy that Marley spent his life singing about.
