My work explores human identity and our relationship with the physical and metaphysical world. As a British South Asian artist, I have always been interested in the factors that make us who we are. The art that I produce reflects upon society, labels and rules; humanity itself is a big influence within my work. Painting is the primary tool that enables me to manifest my ideas and I have recently begun to develop my artwork into 3D sculptures. I aim to remain experimental with concepts, mediums and techniques but I stand true to what engages me – mark making, technical ability and a deep conceptual and philosophical vision. 

Meditation plays a huge part in the formulation of my concepts as I delve into the core of my psyche and come to realisations that enable me to create visual representations of my ‘thoughts’.
