This monochromatic hand was designed as I realised what colour does to an object.
In this case, the monochrome tones create a weight to the hand that the prior version does not. The dark shadows pull the hand down and give the ‘emblem’ a solid density.
This invisible weight represents the abundance that the majority of the world has, yet we feel as though we have not got enough in our palm and we are always persistently left striving for more.
